When I'm away from all the sketch pads & sticky notes, whiteboards & markers, or wireframing on my laptop, I value spending time with my family, giving back to the community, listening to music and playing the drums.
MY FAMILY
My wife and I have been married for 22 years and we have three kids: my oldest son is a sophomore in college at Pensacola, Florida, my daughter is a sophomore in high school, and my youngest son is in 5th grade. They keep us all busy!!

Here's a few shots of us on our trip to Disney a few years ago...
We're all roller coaster fans! The pic on the far left is right after riding Big Thunder Mountain Railroad in the rain. In the pic on the far right, you can tell who likes roller coasters the most - I'm trying to console my youngest son while my wife is screaming for joy in the back!
GIVING BACK
I'm passionate about giving back to the community and being involved in great causes. I enjoy volunteering my time at local charitable events or organizations serving others. Here are a few of the organizations where I've volunteered:

JUST FOR FUNfact
I've been playing the drums since I was about 5 or 6 years old. I've played professionally in several bands through the years but my biggest, closest claim to fame was with Krimson Dawn in the mid 90's. We opened for acts such as: Candlebox, Great White and Bonnie Raitt to name a few.
While at ExactTarget and then Saleforce, I heard about our company talent show and started to get the itch to put an act together. A few of us on the User Experience Design Studio team were musicians that had all played professionally in former lives. So, we decided to form the UXDS band specifically for the upcoming ExactTarget Talent Show just for fun. It was a total blast!
